Stand your ground when it comes to your principles

My homie was talking to a woman that told him how she got down, what she required from men, respect, they had to pick her up, take her out, pay for the date for the both of them, & some other things involving how she got down. My homie told her he wasn't doing it, & since he wasn't doing it, they weren't compatible, so he told her goodbye. Shawty started stuttering saying: “hold on, we don't have to dismiss each other so soon”, & she with his program.

It's gotta be your way or the highway, there is no option for anything else, either way you're going to have you way. If she followed his lead, & what he wanted, or him firing her ass on the spot.

Another example of standing your ground when it comes to your principles is respect. My homie had a situation with his mom, apparently his father is the simp in his family, so he let his wife (my homies mother) talk to him any kind of way, She tries to do it the same way with her sons, since their father never checked his wife, she's just reckless with her lack of respect for men. My homie recently got into with his mom & he checked her, remember, I said you have to be respected at all times as a man, putting up with disrespect from anybody is a no no. It doesn't matter if it's your mom or your sister, other female relatives, your wife, girlfriend, random bitch on the streets, NOBODY should disrespect you. Most folks especially simp ass dudes will make excuses for brawds, “Well, that's your mother”, she's his mother, but at the same time she's still just a woman, being a mother is not a separate gender, they're still women, moms do no get a pass, but I digress. So when my homie gets into it with his mother & his he let her know that she's not going to talk to him any kind of way, & he'll cut her off if she does & never speaks to her again, if she can't understand that, & start showing him proper respect, then he'll cease communicating with her, whenever she called he kept conversations real short so that she got the message that her son is really not playing when it comes to respect & her treating with it, she let him know she'll get with the program & they made peace, meanwhile his pops should be ashamed of himself, that whole situation could have been avoided if he did that long ago.

Most motherfuckers give women & their emotions a pass, thinking it's just emotions, no, it's not, it's disrespectful & it must be checked, it's a clear signal that most cats don't pay attention to. How does it take his son to straighten out his wife, my homie stood his ground so it doesn't matter if it's a woman he's seeing or his own mother, you have principles you stand by them. My homie's pops tried to give him advice dealing with women but my homie just ignores him, he'll even leave if he tries to give him advice, (that's where the post taking advice from a simp is like shooting yourself in the foot comes from). His own advice doesn't even work for him.

My last example of standing on your principles, involves a life situation, as standing on your principles doesn't just work when it comes to dealing with women.

My homie moved to another state & hired a moving company to do the moving, they agreed on a price, & moved his things, things got weird & they attempted to get more money out of him to deliver his things, he told them he wasn't paying them anymore money, & they were going to deliver his furniture at the price they agreed on, when they realized he wasn't paying, & he was going to sue (the company has a history of bad services), they delivered his furniture.

You cannot give people an opportunity to disrespect you, they have to respect you, or you're not going to fuck with them, period. -SSM

A Man must be a Man at all Cost

A man must be a man at all cost, masculinity should be his aura. A man must stand on his own two feet, he must have a set of rules he follows that keep him in line, he has to have a code that he adheres to.

He must have integrity, honor, valor. He must be a man. Whether you believe him to be bad or good will not take away the fact that he is a man because that's how he holds himself. There must be something that he just won't stand for.

My set of principles that I stand on without a shadow of a doubt, is I will not stand for mistreatment of children or abuse of children. I could give a damn about women getting their asses beat by another man. They make the choice of being with him, if I ever saw or heard a woman getting her ass beat I wouldn't do shit but go on about my life, I'm not no gotdamn superhero. I'm not Superman. & I'm not saying abusing women or beating them up is ok, but Women have the power to leave & don't.

But a child. That's different. That's the only reason I'd step in to defend someone is if it were a child. Children cannot defend themselves & they don't have the power to leave. If I ever saw somebody hitting a child like they were an adult I'd whip their ass until they apologized begging for mercy & then I'd make them apologize to their kid. If you're going to hit your kid, it better be out of my sight.

Child abuse pisses me off, mistreating children pisses me off. If I ever heard someone beating on a child I'd call the cops on them as well. We're not talking ass whoopings as in discipline, that's different. But straight up beating on a child like they are adults mane I won't stand for that shit. -SSM 11/25/13
